this is the last time...

You may not get that title line but it is a line from one of the new songs we are working on. We are trying to finish everything up today. We are doing the last BGVs and putting on finishing touches.

That being said, this is our last night at camp Randall then we are heading up to ole Saint Augustine tomorrow to play a show. We will also hang out with our boys from Story Side B. Then it is, as an un-named rapper has said, back to reality...

We will pile in our van and start our 20 hour drive home. Once we arrive we will sleep a few hours and head out to Yukon to play a show... It will be Jared's birthday so make sure, if you are coming, to bring a gift to throw at him on stage. Something heavy and sharp.

Anyway, the album is sounding great. Can't wait for you guys to hear it. We are going to get serioius about getting back on the road in the next few months and I am sure we will playing a lot of these songs.

Anyway, that is all I have. see you all soon.

lazy day and keys...

We have been in the studio so long I am not sure what day it is. This place has no windows or clocks. We were up late recording vocals last night, or should say early this morning. Went to bed about 3am woke up around 2pm. We showerd for the first time in three days and then headed of to reat ourselves at chili's, thanks to Josh's great parents... We then came back to the studio were our producer, Randall "brit pop" Shreve had been doing some vocal take editing all day. We sat around a bit and then got to work on keys with our new pal Rob. Great guy. You are all going to love the parts he laid down.

This has definitely been the most hands on we as a band have been on the production end of record. It has been cool. You guys are going to love what you hear.

dark chamber of sleep

Hello lovelies, I'm writing from the studio as Josh is finishing up his lead tracks. I finished up my rhythm tracks in a day and a half and josh is finishing up in two days. Last night we got crazy and I tracked vocals on three songs it was a blast. Hearing these songs come together so nicely is really getting me pumped for you guys to hear this stuff. This will be the best sounding record we have ever done.
We currently live here at the studio, meaning we eat and sleep here. We like to call where we sleep the dark chamber of sleep lol. No windows so you never know what time of day or night it is... we sleep like babies. Its the good life....

Matt Lande from the band Story Side B is here hanging out with us. He has put in some great input for the album so its good that he is here. If you get a chance go check them out www.myspace.com/storysideb good stuff I tell ya!!!!

Well I think we have some shows coming up one here in florida and one back at home before the end of the month. More details on that to come.... take care folks

oh happy days....

Florida is this a great state or what?? Beautiful, sunny and full of macaroni and fish sticks, and my fish sticks I mean FISH sticks!!! We are finishing up our record pretty fast drums were done in a day, eddie finished bass in a day and today I've been doing my rhythm guitar tracks. We took a lil break from recording last night to enjoy a nice lil birthday party. Thats where the fish sticks and mac N cheese came into play. Randall(our producer/engineer) his son turned 6 years old yesterday, so we went to enjoy his party. He wanted fish sticks and mac n cheese so we had a fest of it. Then we enjoyed some nice cake and ice cream, except for eddie who is not allowed to eat it muahahaha.

Things are well for us, finishing this record is on top priority then its touring time!! There are a few tours in the works... stay in the loop here and on the news section. Also always check out our myspace (www.myspace.com/radialangel) for pics and what not from the studio and the road.

Stay tuned for more posts about the studio from tommy and josh as well....

ps. later on im gonna tell you about a new up and coming artist that I have the priveldge of writing some songs for.....

Forida... what a great state!

Well, we are down here in florida recording our newest record. the weather is amazing. It is 65 in january. What a great place to record. We had a blast this week out and aabout at our string of New yer's eve shows. Chanute is always great, Ada was a blast, and IA was amazing. Never hurts to play in an arena.

Anyway, the recording of our record is going great. We knocked out the drums in one day and are moving on to bass tomorrow. We are having a blast...

will write more later for now I leave you with this short and creepy story.

We, after a long day in the studio were looking for a way to un-wind and decided on chili's, our favorite food place.

we stopped at a gas station and asked for directions. the
guys directions went something like this... go p this road for three miles take a right and go three more miles it will be on our right.

so off we went...

Nomally three miles turns ino five and so on. This time the guy was right on.

we went exactly three miles turned rght and then went exactly three miles when we pulled in font of chili's. those diretions were good... a little to good... Creepy.
