Dropping names...

Ok, I am fully aware that I am about to drop some names. It is not to make us sound cool just to let you guys know how great this last weekend was for us. It is hard to mention it without dropping a few names. However, we are definitely not cool.

First the weekend started by playing the bleach final show in OKC. It was great fun and it was great to see SUB7 again. They are great guys! We got to spend sometime hanging out with our boys bleach after the show, and let me tell you hanging out with them is an experience that will make any man feel inadequate. Those boys really know how to let it all hangout and have some fun. It will be night, Tommy, jared, and I will never forget. It is sad to think that we will not see them together again as Bleach. They are a great group of very sincere guys that will be greatly missed in the music world.

Saaturday me and Jared drove down to Midland Texas to meet with Steven Baldwin. He is an awesome guy and great fun to hangout with as well. He made us feel very comfortable. It was like we had known him for years. Anyway, we went to IHOP and ate pancakes and just talked about stuff. We are looking forward to working with him and are expecting God to do great things with his ministry. Other than that it was just fun to hangout. Jared also got the chance to talk with Sonny from POD and we got to watch them play up close and personal at the festival the next day. There were tons of people there and it was a great show.

The best part of the trip came when Jared and I saw a girl with a back pack on that had our buttons on it. Being dumb like we are we started talking to her about the buttons and asking her where she got them and stuff like that. She didn't realize it was us. That was very funny. One of the buttons had our picture on it. Anyway, that was great fun. The weekend was a blast.

There are a lot of exciting things in the works for us as a band. God is doing some amazing things. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Attached is a link of a pic of me and jared with Stephen Baldwin if you care to see it: www.radialangel.com/baldwin.htm

Wild Wild West Coast...

Well, we had a great trip out to the old west coast. We had a blast actually. We first stopped in on some old friends out in Clovis NM. The Strebeck family really knows how to take care of us oklahoma boys. They fed us well and we had a great time hanging out with them again. While we were in town we did an interview with "Rooney and moon" for the rock station there in town. It was a great time. To have our song played after beyonce's was really kind of strange. Anyway the show in Clovis, as always, was great. Over two Hundred people packed into this coffee house to see us do an acoustic set. It was a little strange because we had planned on doing just Guitars but ended up throwing in some electric drums last second. It was fun.

From there we drove 21 hours to Sacramento CA to do a few shows and again got treated really well. We stayed in downtown sacramento at the Hilton ( no paris was not there) and had some fun times finding a place to park our van and trailer. We mostly slept though since we only got a few hours of sleep before our show that next day. However, Tommy did get verbally attacked by a homeless guy because he gave his money to another guy down the street. Who knew... Anyway sacramento was great fun and the PF Changs there rocks!

We were then off to Antioch and the San Franscico area. We stayed with a great family there. The lenders... If you live in that area you should buy your eye wear from them.

Anyway, we hungout there for a few days and got to know the whole family. We swam in thier pool, ate their food, and played thier old school Nintendo. We also had a chance to hit San Franscico and see the sights. It is a great town. We spent a lot of time just watching the sea lions. Something about them lying on a board is exciting. Not sure what it is. Anyway, we met a lot of great people and had fun hanging out and making fun of them... I mean with them. Oh, thanks to my new friend Brooke for making me a purse out of an old pair of jeans of mine. I know you may be thinking what does a man need with a purse. Well, I am not sure but it is cool all the same. The show in antioch was a great one as well. 250 or so kids packed in to a room sweating and jump like crazy people. The best part of the night was when we started playing "she" and the whole crowd screamed like they were nuts. It is always cool when people know your songs.

After a few hours sleep we took off toward oklahoma again to play a show in broken arrow. We drove for 27 hours straight and got no sleep before we hit the stage. The crowd was great though. They kept us alive. The sang along, and held cell phones up during slow parts. great show and a great crowd. Road dawg was there to run sound so that always helps make a show great.

From there we went to another great show. Apparently St Johns Kansas is the place to rock... Who would have known? We met up with our Friends recycled souls and got to the show super earlier. We were still going on only about three or four hours sleep in the last few days so we were a little giddy. Jared and I spent most of the drive up to Kansas making up non-exsistant plural words. For example: a couple heads of lettuce would be "letti" or a group of quail would be "quailies". Hey it's funny on no sleep ok... The show in St Johns was great. Everyone just completely got into the spirt of the show and it became something special. It was a great way to end this trip out.

Ok, that is all I have got. I have rambled to much anyway. See ya.

Long drives, beautiful west coast...shopping??

So here it is 12pm on friday, we just arrived home about 1 hour ago from california. I must say that I do love CA but I hate driving there. Arizona and the east half of Cali is a barren waste land if you ask me(im jk but come on...ITS HOTT!!!) Our west coast adventure was great, got to see some old friends as well as make some new. Have to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the Strebeck and Linder families for taking such great care of us(feeding us till our tummys hurt from being so full) We had a few days off in the San Fransico area so me being the shopping man that I am...had to hit pier 39 and do some wishlist shopping. I did however purchase a U2 poster that is awesome, and a new lil jacket. There is one thing about pier 39 that you must see, and that is the sea lions...I have no idea why watching sea lions sleep and wrestle their way to have a place to nap is interesting but I assure you it is. The shows on this trip were great, and it felt good to be out playing after a month break. It was good to see familar faces and some new faces out on this time around. All is well in the RA world...God is opening some really huge doors right now. Its a great time to be alive.... patience is a test but the reward is great..just know that God is in control of all things and to trust Him and your dreams will come true. I hope all is well with you all and rumor has it we are doing a tour this fall with 2 good bands, Grand Prize and Pivitplex...it should be a blast. Oh yeah dont forget...Baldwin tested, stephen approved!!!!!
