Went to texas and saw some METAL!!!!

OK, well we have had some down time as we are just kind of playing spot dates at this point. I had some time to catch up with a friend of mine, Yogi. He was in the area playing with the band Demon Hunter. So I drove down to Dallas to catch him play. It was interesting to see him play this style of music since I had only really seen him in his band, Holland/the lonely hearts. He did a great job.

The show was cool and I actually saw a few Radial Angel fans there in the crowd. I got recognized twice, which was strange. This almost never happens. Of all places for it to happen, a Demon hunter show. I never thought I would get noticed at a METAL show (I have to write METAL in all caps becasue it is real rock). I had a great time at the show. Saw Dead Poetic for the first time. They are a great band. Definitely go check them out when they are near you. For that matter go heck us out if we are near you. We would love to see you.

Anyway, that is about it. PEACE

Ups and downs and everything in between...

We just got back from North Carolina. We are suppose to still be there hanging out with our Friends at Cornerstone NC. However, we are home. It is never fun to have to cancel a show. You always fill like a jerk making that call. Plus you miss the chance to rock out and have fun with people. That is never cool. Anyway, sometimes you can't help it and you have to do it. It just has to happen. This time it was because Jared got sick while flying to Florida for a showcase. That flight was a horrible 3hr roller coaster of a ride that almost made us all throw up (no joke). We ended up delayed to Tampa for a bit and then came back to land in Orlando. We had a great time there getting treated like kings, thanks to our friends at 9th hour records. Anyway, we had a great time hanging with them and getting to know them better. We also got the chance to go to universal studios in Orlando. It was a great time. The Mummy ride Rocks! Anyway, Jared started filling more sick as the time went a long. As we touched down in NC again he could barely talk and had a lot of pain in his throat. So we reluctantly had to call the show off.

After the high of being in Florida and having such a great meeting it was a bad way to end the trip for sure. We are definitely going to be heading back to NC soon though so don't worry about that. As for now, after a little rest, we are off to Texas and the surrounding states. See ya!

crappy plane flights and universal studios....

So yeah right now we should be in North Carolina playing cafejam's coffehouse stage at cornerstone festival there, but unfortunately I came down with some kind of throat infection. So a huge appology to those people looking forward to seeing us and hanging out with us while we were there, maybe next time. So I must tell about the plane ride from hades(that would be the nice way of saying it). Take off at 4:30ish on tuesday from charlotte, NC and we dont land in orlando FL till sometime after 8 I believe. Due to a really bad lightning storm we could not land, so we flew around in circles in the bad weather all the while everyone was getting sick around us. Horrible time(and to top it off it was tommy and jeremy's first flight-not a good way to start). Well we get to orlando and have a BLAST hanging with old friends Randy and Ben Shreve. We met with a new label that is based in orlando that is looking to turn the christian music market around from the inside out. They treated us better than we have EVER been treated as a band, nice fancy hotel stay, free passes to universal studios(btw i highly recommend the return of the mummy ride)...just an all out great time. It wasnt all play, we had to do some work and that was a showcase at a club called Last Wave Club with us and Ben Shreve. It was a great time, probly one of our better shows we've played in a while and i was sick. (God works in odd ways eh?) Afterwards we shared our hearts with Gwyn(the owner of the new label) and just got to know each other a lil better. I must say that God has a crazy way of putting the right people into your lives at the right moment. Things are going very good right now for us in the RA camp....new songs, new future label search going well, new touring coming soon, new rested RA, new passion....the future of christian radio is just on the other side of this door, when we open it, you will know.....

A HUGE THANKS TO GWYN AND RANDY(and his wife)FOR TREATING US BETTER THAN ANYONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED AND FOR THAT MAY GOD BLESS YOUR MINISTRY GREATLY.....

ps. Ben we will soon have a fun time and my friend i'll bring the.....

Everday Sunday and Kids In The Way Show...

Well, We hosted the "imperfect tour" last night and it was a lot of fun. It was great to hang out in okc with some old friends. To be honest, It was good to just do a show again. We hadn't played in a weeks.

I was funny hanging out with boys from everyday Sunday (Dan and the crew). It was also great to meet Kids In The Way. They are great guys and I hope we can do more with them in the future. Anyway, thanks to everyone who showed up and made the show great. I know all the bands were thankful to see you there.

We are off to NC on Friday to do a few shows. That is if our new transmission holds up well. (I am sure it will it cost us enough money.) Anyway, Off to Cornerstone and to spend a few days in Florida thanks to our friends at 9th hour records. If you are any where near Orlando come see us at the last wave club. We will be doing a cool show there. Should be great fun.

Hope you all are well.
