Lazy days are here

Hello friends- It feels like we haven't played a show in forever, yet its only been two weeks. I miss you all, I miss the wear and tear of the road, it is truely a love hate relationship. I feel like I have become a lazy mess, but really I have been pursuing some other hobbies of mine. Poetry has always been a hidden passion of mine and I've finally had some time to sit down and just write. I have also been working on new songs for you all to hear...I cant wait to share them all with you. So today was tuesday which means new music day and I went to the record store and purchased some new music and old music. Artists that I picked up today include Avril Lavigne(under my skin) and Vertical Horizon(everything you want). I must say those canadians sure now how to rock eh? I mainly picked up the new avril record cause of who produced it, Raine Maida(singer of our lady peace) and Butch Walker(singer of marvelous 3/also has a great solo album that i highly recommend) and to my surprise this new album of hers is quite impressive. There must be something in the water up there in canadia(yes i know i spelt it like that on purpose) such great talent coming out of there lately. I must tell you about a band called Brandtson, they have an album coming out june 15th on the militia group, but I got it early and it is great. If you have a chance to check them out please do they are great. Other bands I think you should check out if you havent already-noise ratchet, veronica, the beautiful mistake and lovedrug and a new and upcoming band called Ever Stays Red(www.everstaysred) they are from phoenix but I have a feeling you will hear more about them soon. Well you all be safe and have fun and until we see you again

be blessed

Transmission trouble...

Here we are sitting at home in OKC when we should be out rocking the great state of Michigan. Sorry guys, we wanted to be there. Our transmission went out in the van so we are sitting around waiting on it to be fixed so we can hit the road again. We had to miss three great shows, getting to play with some cool bands, and I am sure meeting some cool new people on top of the great friends we already have out there. Anyway, we didn't let our time go to waist as we sat at home stranded. We took the time to write a new song and work on some cool stuff for future shows. You guys are going to love the new version of "love". So Hopefully when we head back to Michigan it will be even better than it would have this weekend. Sorry to everyone who had hoped to see us. We would have loved to be there.

The art of patience

It seems that we are, for the most part, all the same when it comes to having patience. We are all caught up in the give me, give me state, that we tend to forget that we dont always get what we want when we want it. I'm very big right now on sharing with my friends that feel as if they always have to have a relationship, that you dont always have to have one. They are so impatient on waiting for the right person, that they always settle for less and always get hurt. (when i refer to "we" I am talkin about christians) We always tend to try to rely on our own strengths that we forget that God told us we can fully rely on Him to carry us through situations. Radial Angel and I have been learning the art of patience lately as we wait out things that are occuring in our daily personal lives and professional lives. God is teaching us not to rush things and take the first big thing that comes our way. We must trust in Him that He is in control and not us. He gives us the wisdom to know what is good and what is not. I encourage you all to learn patience, ask the Lord to teach and guide you through a lesson in patience. Learning patience, I feel, strengthens your faith to trust God more and more. Great things await each of us....but first comes the art of patience....be blessed (remember that if you are weak and weary...Matt 11.28)

Home where the buffalo roam

We are home! We had a good time on the last part of the ATF tour but it feels good to be home for a while. Playing arenas is a blast and meeting all the great people across the country was great fun as well. It was tough to say good bye to all of the good friends we made over the last four months with the ATF crew. They are some great men and women of God and a true blessing to know. The tour was an amazing. We are now going to take it easy for the next few months catching up on some duties here at home. We met to many cool people to mention as we went across Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, and Colorado as well as everywhere else we played during the last four months. A lot of great people really took care of us this tour. We have some big decisions coming up over the next few months so keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we sift through our options for the future. Things are looking great for us but we want to take the right path.

Anyway, it is great to be home for a few months. We are looking forward to writing some new stuff to show you guys soon. We will try and keep you in the loop as much as possible.

I think that is all I have got for now. PEACE

Eddie

P.S. Don't forget we have Everyday Sunday and Kids In The Way coming to hang with us here in OKC the first of next month. Should be a great time for all.

The long road comes to an end....

So here we are on our last stretch of this tour. We've been out pretty much since valentines day and we are all tired and ready to call it a day. We have one more show to do this saturday in colorado for ATF and we are headed home. I am so ready for a break from the no sleep and long hours stuck in our van and the fast food. I will be using my time off from the band by writing new material and catching up on some much needed rest. I have some friends coming in to visit me and I think I'm going to be visiting Teen Mania campus to hang out with my friends from ATF. It will be nice to just hang out rather than have to play shows. There are some crazy things going on with us that will change the future of RA so please keep us in your prayers. The Summer Fade tour will kick off July 4th in Idaho I think and will spand into the end of September. We are bringin our friends Recycled Souls and I think Unified Front will be back out with us so this summer is going to be a blast. Not much else is going on, just really excited to get home and hang out with my family and friends. Dont forget June 1st we are bringing in the Imperfect tour with Everyday Sunday and Kids in the way...more details on that show very soon. Well until the next time we see you guys keep us in prayer and we love you...be blessed
