Faith

Here I am sitting in the comforts of my home, finally relaxing for a while. I got to thinking today about faith and what it really means to have faith. Several years ago I attended an Acquire the Fire event(www.acquirethefire.com) and I had said one day I'm going to play that stage. It was in Tulsa, oklahoma where I had attended the event.....and it happened. This past saturday I played the very venue and stage that I had wanted to play for so long. Isn't it awesome that God does truely give you the desires of your heart?? God keeps blowing me away each and every day, its just plain amazing lol. The tulsa ATF was probly my fave since it was the one I was looking forward to the most. It was nice to have friends there and to have them see us fulfilling one of our dreams. Our old bassist was in attendance since he brought his youth group, hardcore ministries, up to check out the event. He skipped out on the youth pastor meeting just to see us play lol shhh we wont tell on ya dan!!! It was a great weekend overall, saw some family of mine that I hadnt seen in a long time and also met some family I never knew, what a small world. I challenge you all to step up your faith, I've been learning that God really does notice your faith in Him. Once you step out of your comfort zones thats when amazing thing happen. One more thing if you are in oklahoma you need to come out this friday to our EP release party. Its going to be amazing we can promise you that......check out the tour page for details....be blessed

March...the east coast beaches and snow

It has been a while since I have done a journal entry... Sorry touring will do that to a person. We have been traveling all over the east coast playing a bunch of great shows and meeting a lot of really great people. In about 12 days we have gone from oklahoma to florida where we hungout on a beach and swam in the ocean ... thanks to all the great people who took care of us and put us up. It meant more to us than you will ever know. from there we headed to NC where it wasn't so warm and Florida like but the people where still really great to us... Then we started our trek back to the farm land. travling through mountains and snow and every other type of weather possible. We have had a blast and will finish this trip tomorrow. We wil then be doing some shows around home and getting ready to play ATF Tulsa. I hope our home crowd can live up to all the great crowds we have met over the last few weeks. Oh yeah Everyone in a 1000 mile radius needs to make there way to our CD release party on the 2nd of April. Starts at 7pm and it is going to be a cool show. Plus everyone who pays to get in gets a free CD. Should be fun. I am off to bed Peace out.

What a weekend...

This past weekend was North Carolina weekend, we were in Greensboro for 3 days and we had a blast. We played at one of my fave places to play which is CafeJam on friday and sunday morning. Pastor T and the gang always treat us well, and God always moves in a great way at our shows there. Saturday was ATF with Seven Places and Bleach.....well it was probly the most fun I've had in a long time. I got "bleached" as they call it, if you know what that is then you can feel my pain. For those of you who dont know what that means, be very thankful. It was a great time though, Greensboro sure knows how to rock. I made some new friends not only on the crew of ATF but some people that came to the event. (shout out to Trish and Jess) Some great things are coming along for us so please be in prayer for us. I am learning a lot out here on tour about faith, and what it means to have faith in the Lord. Its great to learn new things about stuff you already know about ya know. Well we are now in kansas and we get to come home tomorrow night. Tulsa ATF is this coming sat......so excited. Well im out for now, be blessed

Great sunny Florida

Florida has been great so far, I must say that Florida is one of my fave states to play. You guys really know how to have fun. The ATF in Tampa was such a blast, those kids sure know how to make some noise. We have a few days off now in St. Augustine Florida and we are going to be spending them on the beach here. My friend Autumn cut my hair and colored it, cut jeremys and put some color in eddies hair as well. (thanks autumn *wink*) In bradenton we met up with some old friends we made back in the day at an event called History Makers..it was good to see old friends. well I hear that our EP is almost done and we will have them on the 25th of this month. So very soon friends, you will be able to hear the new Radial Angel. Well we still have about a week and a half left before we see home for a few days, but we are having a blast back out on the road. I was lucky enough to score the new delirious album from Jon Thatcher their bassist...thanks man. Its a great album you all should pick it up. Well im out for now....be blessed

Amazing weekend....

Acquire the fire in des moines, IA was truely amazing. I had a blast making new friends within the ATF crew and with the great people of Iowa. In my mind it was Delirious' best set I've seen them play so far, they are a great live band that have a true heart for changing the world. It is truely a blessing to be apart of this tour....seeing so many lifes changed each night. We had to cut our weekend short though sadly, our drummer tommy is very sick right now. So please keep him in your prayers as we have to head back out on tour this weekend down in the wonderful state of florida. Things are looking up for us so keep us in your prayers as some things are about to change in the world of Radial Angel as we know it. Our new EP is going to be out very soon. We have entitled it "summer fade"...the theme that goes with that title basically is just what is going on in our lifes. We will be releasing a new single to radio very soon.....well keep checking the tour page as its always being updated. We have a long road ahead of us in the touring world...hope to see all of you beautiful people soon. "Summer fade into the break of day, theres a new year to begin....."

home for a few days...

Just got back early Sunday morning. 4am to be exact. Slept most of the day and then went to my nephews 4th birthday party... Nothing like a bunch of crazy 4 year olds mixed with a tired man who really doesn't handle children very well. OK don't get me wrong I love my nephew's. They are great fun. They like to lock me out of the house and make me play games like "soldier". For those of you have never played this game you are not missing out. It is were they replay the crucifixion of Christ (whom I get the miss fortune of playing the part of) They hurl insults at you and then nail you to a fake cross while they beat you. Oh, and if you don't scream loud enough they do it again. Anyway, like I said they are fun kids (a little crazy sometimes) but great kids. Anyway, I probably deserve everything I get. After all I let the older one josh eat a rock when he was a baby. I know I am a horrible uncle and really bad baby sitter. So anyway, I say all of that to say it was a crazy experience and those kids can wear a person out. I feel for all you parent type people out there.
Anyway, our trip to Texas went well. We thought we were not going to be going for a little bit because Tommy's fiancee got in a car wreck and almost died. The lord took care of her though which gave us a great reason to celebrate as we played these shows. She is doing much better now. She is in some pain but will be ok as things progress. We started our trip at the door, which was well, the door. It is the same every time we are there. The show the next day was awesome... we met some cool people had a great time and had a lot of fun in the park. Someone came up to us and gave us 20 dollars a person and said to find someone who needs it and that God will use it to bless us. This is left me thinking a lot about looking for people who need the money. I figure a door will open. I think this will be a great exercise in being on the look out for someone in need. It is easy to go give money to charities or do charity shows but it is completely different to look for someone in our daily lives who is in need and help them out. I'll let you know what happens to my 20 dollars.... stay tuned
